Tell us a little about your crew!
This time my wife is joining me as crew. She has been acting as my crew over the past 25 or more years, but as paused for a while since my daughter, when becoming 18, started to join me as crew. Now my wife is looking forward to enjoying Sweden and relaxing for some days.
The glider of the future - what do you think it looks like?
In my opinion the future favors gliders in the range of 18 - 23 m wingspan due to their outstanding relation of performance and feasibility. Maybe there will also be further developments in the field of the 20 m double seaters like the Arcus. And for sure, for all of the above mentioned glider types the development of electrical propulsion systems will further proceed with increasing battery performances.
